Role: Director and Co-founder
More about Mike’s expertise:
Based out of our Royston office, Mike is focused on driving the sales side of the business working closely with Head of Sales, Matt Hammond. He oversees the sales channels and commercial activities liaising closely with Calteq’s client-base and also looks after carrier and supplier relationships.
What does a typical day look like for Mike?
Leave home at 6:30 am and travel to the office (COVID restrictions permitting). Catch up on morning emails, tickets, and messages. The usual morning involves discussion with our Head of Sales and General Manager with updates of carried over activities; discussion with finance team and billing manager. Carrier liaison and product development often take up part of the day with discussion with some of the larger customers regarding ongoing activities.
Interests and hobbies
Sadly, the pandemic has scuppered Mike’s plans to pursue his true love of traversing the globe as a keen landscape photographer. He has instead had to make do with staying closer to home but is very much looking forward to getting back to it soon.
